Sterling Silver Dinner
The Bakersfield College Foundation's annual Sterling Silver dinner
will be Saturday, January 28 beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event features
William Bloxsom-Carter, executive chef of the Playboy Mansion West and
students and chefs in Bakersfield College's Culinary Arts Department. A

Transfer to CSUB
Specialists from CSUB will be on campus to help you transfer on February 8 and 9! Visit them in the Fireside Room from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Bring a transcript and completed CSU Mentor Application. Contact Denise Romero for more information.
Important Course Repeat Change
Starting with Summer 2012 classes, students will no longer be able to take a class more than three times if they have previously dropped the class with a “W” or received a poor grade. After the third attempt, students must take the class outside of Bakersfield College and the Kern Community College District. It is no longer appropriate to repeat a class multiple times. If you are taking a class this semester and want to drop it, please do so before the February 21 “W” deadline to avoid having the class count against the new repeat maximum.
